Floors quoted properly, before the first board is cut.
Hardwood, vinyl plank, tile, carpet and stairs. We measure, check the subfloor and put the preparation, removal and trim work in writing, so you can compare quotes on the same scope.

01 / 07What kind of property is it?
One question per screen. No long form, no account, no obligation.
Subfloor flatness and moisture readings are taken before we quote, not discovered on install day. Where levelling is needed, it is a line in the quote instead of a change order.

Flooring services
Start with the floor you are actually planning.
A basement slab, a condo suite and a century home need different products and different preparation. Pick the closest one and the quote request adapts around it.

Hardwood installation
Hardwood is the finish most people picture and the one most often installed over a subfloor nobody checked. We measure the room, test the subfloor and the wood for moisture, confirm flatness, and put the layout, transitions and trim work in writing before a single board is cut.

Refinishing
A floor with life left in it does not need replacing. Refinishing takes the old finish off, corrects the colour and puts a new wear layer down for a fraction of the cost of new hardwood. The first job is telling you honestly whether your floor is a candidate, a recoat, or genuinely done.

Engineered hardwood
Engineered hardwood is real wood on a dimensionally stable core, and in a lot of Toronto properties it is the correct answer rather than the compromise. Over concrete, over in-floor heat, below grade and in condos with humidity swings, it moves less than solid and it can be installed in more ways.

Vinyl plank (LVP)
Vinyl plank has taken over basements, rentals, kitchens and busy family homes for good reasons: it handles water, it is quiet underfoot, and a rigid core hides more subfloor sin than wood ever will. It is still an install where preparation and the right core decide whether it looks good in five years.

Laminate
Laminate is the budget that behaves. A good one takes heavy traffic, resists scratching better than most wood finishes and installs quickly. A bad one, or a good one in the wrong room, swells at the seams and cannot be repaired. The difference is in the rating, the core and where you put it.

Tile
Tile fails in predictable ways: a deflecting floor, no uncoupling layer, no movement joints, or a shower that was never properly waterproofed. Done to the industry standards, a tile floor outlasts everything else in the house. The work that gets it there is almost all underneath.
View scopeHow it runs
Four steps from first call to floors you keep.
- 01
Tell us the rooms
Send the rooms, rough square footage, what is on the floor now and what you are considering. Photos of the floor and the doorways help more than measurements.
- 02
We measure and test
On site we measure properly, check subfloor flatness, take moisture readings where they matter, and look at doors, stairs and transitions.
- 03
You get it in writing
A written quote with the product, square footage and waste, preparation, removal and disposal, trim and transitions, and what is excluded.
- 04
We install and clean up
Scheduled dates, protection for the rest of the home, our own debris removed, and leftover material labelled by lot for future repairs.

What is under the floor
Most flooring problems were built in on day one.
Cupping, gapping, hollow-sounding seams, cracked grout lines and click edges that let go all trace back to the same short list: a subfloor that was not flat, moisture that was never measured, material that was not acclimated, or no allowance left for the floor to move.
- Subfloor flatness checked
- Moisture readings taken
- Slab testing before basements
- Acclimation before install
- Expansion gaps at every edge
- Squeaks fixed before finishing
Homes and businesses
One measure. Two very different kinds of job.
A homeowner needs to know what happens to the doors, the stairs and the furniture, and how long the house is disrupted. A property manager needs phasing, after-hours access, moisture test results and attic stock for future repairs. The request asks about the property first so each one starts in the right place.
