How we work
We come to your property to measure; quotes are written after that visit

What we do

Hardwood installation and refinishing, engineered hardwood, vinyl plank, laminate, tile, carpet, stairs, basement floors, commercial flooring and floor repair. Each service has its own page setting out what the job involves, what the subfloor needs first and where that product is the wrong choice:

How a job runs

  1. Tell us the rooms. Send the rooms, rough square footage, what is on the floor now and what you are considering. Photos of the floor and the doorways help more than measurements.
  2. We measure and test. On site we measure properly, check subfloor flatness, take moisture readings where they matter, and look at doors, stairs and transitions.
  3. You get it in writing. A written quote with the product, square footage and waste, preparation, removal and disposal, trim and transitions, and what is excluded.
  4. We install and clean up. Scheduled dates, protection for the rest of the home, our own debris removed, and leftover material labelled by lot for future repairs.

The written quote lists the product, square footage with waste, preparation, removal and disposal, trim and transitions, and what is excluded, so it can be compared line by line with any other quote.

About the photos on this site

The room photos on our service pages are illustrative images and are marked as such. The before and after pairs on the home page are AI-generated design concepts, also labelled on the page. Neither shows a specific customer’s job.

When we publish completed jobs, they will appear under a Completed jobs heading with the month, area and what was found and done, and only with the customer’s permission. We would rather show nothing than show someone else’s floor as ours.

Reviews and profiles

Our Google Business Profiles, where customers can leave and read reviews:

We also post on Instagram and Facebook.

We do not copy, summarise or score reviews on this website. Read them at their source, where you can see who wrote them and when.

Standards we refer to

Our service pages link the National Wood Flooring Association, the Tile Council of North America, the Carpet and Rug Institute, Ontario Regulation 278/05 on asbestos and the Ontario Building Code where they bear on the work. They are references for how the work should be done, not claims of membership or certification.

Before you hire anyone

Whoever you choose, get the scope and price in writing, ask for a certificate of liability insurance (condo corporations usually require one before work starts), and ask whether a WSIB clearance certificate applies to the job. A lower number that leaves out levelling, disposal and trim is not a lower price.
